We have established a wonderful rapport with the staff and residents in these facilities. The response that we get from the residents on a daily basis is the greatest joy we could possibly imagine.

Saint Anne's Home, Little Sisters of the Poor

Saint Anne's Home provides long-term care of the body and spirit for the elderly poor of all ethnic backgrounds and religions.  The residents are cared for by the Sisters and a professional nursing staff, and each resident has a nice sunny little private room that opens onto beautiful central courtyards.  The grounds of the facility, which border on the Presidio National Park, are wonderful to visit.  The Sisters and Staff of Saint Anne's Home are happy to have our wonderful therapy dogs visiting to brighten the days of the residents.

Tunnell Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare
1359 Pine St., San Francisco, CA.
The Tunnell Center serves a diverse community of people.  Long-term care and rehabilitation services are provided at this facility, to patients of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities.  It is a lively place to visit with the dogs, and the staff are particularly passionate about the benefits of pet-assisted therapy.

San Francisco Community Convalescent Center
2655 Bush St., San Francisco, CA.
The SF Community Convalescent Center really is a reflection on the San Francisco Community.  The center serves people of all cultures and nationalities, languages and backgrounds.  Visiting this facility is fun because there are always lots of residents up and about in the halls and activity rooms who are happy to integrate pet-assisted therapy into their routines.

Mercy Terrace

Mercy Terrace provides low-income housing for senior citizens, along with healthcare and senior services assistance.  The facility consists of independent apartments with common areas for socializing and special events.  A gathering around the visiting pet-assisted therapy team is one weekly feature offered by Mercy Terrace.

Sunrise Senior Living Center at Golden Gate Park

The Sunrise at Golden Gate Park is a beautiful and pet-friendly
assisted-living facility where the residents enjoy lovely architecture, lots of sunlight, and tasteful decor.  The spacious and inviting lobby, sunrooms, Fine Arts Hall, and other common areas are perfect for the visiting pet-assisted therapy volunteers.  The staff and residents of Sunrise are a big part of our program here in San Francisco, receiving our therapy dogs with open arms and big smiles.  Orientation Meetings for new volunteers and lots of special events such as parties and lectures are held on the rolling lawn or in the spacious common rooms of this beautiful facility in the Sunset District of San Francisco.
